Among The Least’s vision for ministry is a biblical and therefore global - to serve the least among us. By carrying this vision into other nations, we work together with nationals, equipping them to care for orphans and widows represented in their countries, helping to prevent generational patterns of oppression.
Among the Least offers hope to the women we work with through our SASA Moms program. We provide assistance through discipleship classes, income generating, “pay forward” micro-loans, registered community-based accountability groups and skills training. We also offer workshops that address national churches' concerns for orphans and widows.
God calls His church to care for orphans. In accordance with this, it is our mission to help both orphaned children and Christian families unite in a spirit of adoption and form forever families. "...God sets the lonely in families" Psalm 68:6. We raise, collect, and distribute funds to assist families with the expenses of adopting. We also provide resources and presentations for people to understand, promote, and sponsor adoption. Infant and international adoptions average $19,000- $35,000. Over the last ten years Among The Least (formerly called CARE: Christian Adoption Resources and Encouragement) has helped over 15 families with adoption expenses and gifted over $32,000 for adoption purposes.
